Frederick and The Frog

Frederick is learning to be very gentle with animals particularly after our new rule:

If you kill it, you eat it.

It is only a matter of time before this rule will be used against my mother who tries to control the local mouse population.

  1. LOL, how sweet, reminds me of the local Bunjalung (Aboriginal people’s) law: No Greed, No Lying, No Fighting cause if you fight you might kill and you have to eat what you kill. My kids say the same to me when I kill the pestilent Cane toads. I try to explain I’m saving our native green frogs.
I didn’t know you had a child (have only been following for a while). Perhaps you could share some of your wisdom regarding children and food choices at my blog. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

  2. You did open up a can of worms over there!
The man cub is a big part of my story. My depression started almost as soon as I was pregnant and continued just about forever. At least that’s how it felt.
